Asia Visitor Guide is an independent website that explains entry requirements for visitors to Asian countries in plain English. We help you understand the kinds of rules that exist — visa categories, passport validity, onward tickets, customs restrictions — so you can find and read the official rules for your own trip with confidence.

What we are not

• Not a government website. We have no connection to any government, embassy or immigration authority.
• Not a visa agency. We don't sell visas, "fast-track" services or application help, and we never charge fees.
• Not the final word. Only the destination country's authorities can confirm what applies to your nationality and trip.

Why we exist

Search results for visas are crowded with commercial agencies that look official and charge many times the government fee. We wanted a calm, independent place that explains how things work and always points to the official source.
